Misty Ridge Cuddly Animal Farm Special Education

"MISTY RIDGE" Cuddly Animal Farm is an excellent EDUCATIONAL and ENTERTAINING idea for children's development and introducing them to animals and the farmyard. Children with learning disabilities are stimulated by the HANDS ON experience that we at Misty Ridge take pride in giving.

The children relate in there own special way as they experience the animals in their controlled environment. Wheel Chairs are no barriers with us as all our animals come out of their enclosures to meet the children.

Approved by Dept. of Education and by the Dept. of Agriculture (A028).

Special needs children especially, respond enthusiastically to the "HANDS ON" opportunity to feed, brush and best of all cuddle the baby farm animals such as LAMBS, KID GOATS, PIGLETS, CALF, DUCKLING, CHICKENS AND BUNNIES.

Friendly and knowledgeable staffs fully supervise the animals and clean up the allocated area ensuring it stays clean. Droppings are continually cleaned up throughout the session.
